TopFX CEO Victor Zachariades Departs, Returns to BKR44

Victor Zachariades, CEO of Cyprus-based retail and institutional broker TopFX, has announced his departure from the company to return to BKR44, the advisory firm he founded several years ago. BKR44 provides a variety of services to brokers and prop firms, focusing on dealing and risk solutions.

TopFX is in the process of searching for a replacement for Zachariades as CEO, according to the company.

Zachariades joined TopFX as CEO in 2024. His previous roles include Managing Director EU (in Cyprus) for Australia-based retail FX and CFDs broker Pepperstone from 2019 to 2022, and heading Alpaca’s Cyprus operation before setting up BKR44. He has also worked at Libertex Group, FxPro, and TFI Markets, and served as a Director on the board of Go Markets Cyprus.

In a LinkedIn post, Zachariades said he will continue to support TopFX and the new CEO through the transition until the regulatory handover is complete, while his focus is now on building the next stage of BKR44. He noted that BKR44, which will turn five in two months, has grown beyond services, with brokers and prop firms now able to use its tools to run operations more efficiently and scale with confidence. He also said new products are launching soon.
