TP ICAP Announces Changes to Committee Membership
TP ICAP PLC (LON:TCAP), one of the world's leading interdealer brokers, announced on Monday some changes to the responsibilities of two Non-executive Directors.
According to the company's announcement, Michael Heaney will assume the role of Senior Independent Director upon relinquishing his role as interim Chair of the Risk Committee.
Mr Heaney has been the member of Board of Directors at TP ICAP since January 2018. Furthermore, he serves as the Chairman of Fixed Income Market Structure Advisory Committee at U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission from November 2017. Mr Heaney also spent 18 years in Morgan Stanley.
In addition to Michael Heaney, TP ICAP also announced the appointment of Edmund Ng, who is currently a member of the Risk Committee, as member of the Audit Committee.
Edmund has over 20 years' experience of the Asian capital markets. His years of experience at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority will bring an in-depth understanding of complex financial regulatory regimes to the Board.
Edmund is currently Chief Investment Officer and co-founder of Eastfort Asset Management, which was established in mid-2015 with Brummer & Partners in Sweden.The changes are going to be effective after the conclusion of TP ICAP's AGM in May 2021.
