TP ICAP’s 2022 Profit Reaches £103M, up 1960% YoY

TP ICAP Group plc, UK-based interdealer broker and a world leading liquidity and data solutions provider, has generated £2,115m revenue for full year ended ended 31 December 2022, which went up 13% from 2021's £1,865m.
In constant currency, 2022’s revenue was 7% higher over that of the prior year. "We delivered a strong performance: high single-digit revenue growth and an increase in profitability. Significant monetary tightening in many economies benefited Rates, our largest business," said Nicolas Breteau, CEO of the Group.
EBIT for the year came in at £163m, up 68% compared to £97m in 2021, with EBIT margin increasing from 5.2% to 7.7%. Profit before tax was £113m, compared to that of the previous year at £24m. And profit for the period stood at £103m, growing significantly 1960% from 2021's £5m. In addition, 2022 basic EPS rose from the prior year’s 0.7p to 13.2p.
Last November, Fazzaco reported that TP ICAP has produced £1,588m revenue in total for the nine months ended 30 September 2022, up 10% compared with the same period in 2021.
