Traders Trust CEO Introduces New Prop Trading Brand TradingCult

Nicola Berardi, CEO of Cyprus-based online trader Traders Trust, has launched a new prop trading brand called TradingCult.

The newly prop brand announced its introduction on X, stating: "Brace yourselves! The wait is over! The moment has arrived! We are thrilled to announce the launch of Trading Cult, our innovative proprietary trading firm! Our mission? To fund your trading journey."

As displayed on the TradingCult website, the brand is operated and managed by two entities, CULTPEDIA LTD in Seychelles and CULTEDGE LTD in Cyprus.

Nicola Berardi, the visionary behind TradingCult, boasts a wealth of experience as a leader and founder within the financial services sector. Having previously held the position of CFO at Saxo Bank and Synthesis Bank for years, the latter of which was acquired by Saxo in 2007, Berardi founded the online trading brand Traders Trust in 2009 and has since been at the helm as its CEO.

Berardi wrote on the TradingCult website: "At TradingCult, I'm dedicated to providing the funding, education, and support that traders need to succeed. My mission is to empower traders by breaking down barriers and ensuring everyone can thrive in the financial markets, and I am committed to helping them reach their full potential."

Traders Trust is absent from the TradingCult website, leaving the relationship between the two companies ambiguous.

Despite the formidable challenges presented by regulatory requirements and the support of trading technology, an increasing number of brokers and industry professionals have ventured into the proprietary trading space this year, with notable entrants such as CoinW​, IC Markets, YaMarkets, Hantec Market, OANDA​, and Axi.

Furthermore, in March of this year, former cTrader executive James Glyde also established a prop trading firm named PipFarm​ to partake in the competitive landscape of the industry.
