TradeSun Buys Coriolis Technologies to Expedite ESG-compliant Trade

TradeSun, a provider of cutting-edge trade compliance solutions, announced that it has acquired trade data and analytics provider Coriolis Technologies, to boost compliance with ESG factors in trading.
The two firms signed a cooperation agreement earlier this year. With this acquisition, TradeSun's global and regional bank network will enable further innovation across trading and supply chain.
Dr. Rebecca Harding, founder of Coriolis, will act in a strategic advisory capacity at the new firm when the acquisition is completed.
TradeSun will now offer Coriolis' ESG products, including a independent ratings-based platform developed in partnership with more than 50 financial institutions. In its statement, TradeSun explained: "The platform scores, monitors and verifies supply chain players against the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, as well as other key regulatory frameworks such as the EU Taxonomy. It facilitates supply chain transparency by measuring ESG impact throughout all tiers in trade supply chains."
Nigel Hook, CEO of TradeSun, said: "Dr. Rebecca Harding and I concur that with sustainable financing becoming more prevalent, parties across the trade ecosystem will naturally strive to gain better ESG scores. The acquisition will support both financial institutions as well as supply chain players to assess and modify their businesses to meet industry and sovereign ESG goals."
