New York-based Tradeweb, a global operator of electronic marketplaces, has disclosed significant executive changes, including the forthcoming departure of Thomas Pluta, President and member of the board of directors, effective September 30, 2024.

Pluta, who has served on Tradeweb's board for over six years and held the position of President for the past 18 months, will be stepping down as part of these changes.

In the near term, Tradeweb plans to realign its US institutional units under Enrico Bruni, Head of Europe and Asia business, while CEO Billy Hult will oversee the wholesale and retail teams.

In a concurrent development, Tradeweb has appointed Amy Clark from Wells Fargo's corporate and investment banking division as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), effective August. Clark brings with her over 25 years of experience from Credit Suisse, where she last served as Chief Operating Officer of investment banking and capital markets.

Commenting on Clark's appointment, CEO Billy Hult emphasized her extensive expertise in global operations and acquisition integration, highlighting her suitability to accelerate Tradeweb's growth trajectory.

"I look forward to collaborating with her and our leadership team to further scale our business, integrate our numerous acquisitions, and continually improve our ability to serve our client network," remarked Hult.

One of the key integrations Clark will oversee is that of Institutional Cash Distributors, a Colorado-based investment platform recently acquired by Tradeweb for $785 million, with closure expected in the latter half of 2024.
