Trading platform TradingView has issued a warning yesterday about a rise in fraudulent Facebook advertisements impersonating its brand and offering enticing but fake rewards. The scams often promise free access to the platform's Premium features or bonuses tied to alleged partnerships with other companies, such as free USDT on Binance.

According to the company, these advertisements use designs that closely mimic TradingView's official style, increasing the likelihood of misleading users. When clicked, the ads redirect people to fake websites resembling the TradingView interface. From there, victims may be prompted to download so-called "special" software, which is in fact malware capable of stealing personal data.

TradingView emphasised that it has no association with these campaigns, stressing that the only legitimate source for its offers is its official website and its verified channels. "If it's not exactly tradingview.com, don't just leave, run away," the company advised.

The announcement provided several safety recommendations: avoid offers that seem too good to be true, steer clear of "cracked" or hacked versions of the platform, and double-check domains before entering any credentials. The company also urged anyone who has clicked on suspicious links to immediately change their TradingView password, enable two-factor authentication, run a full malware scan, review account activity, and revoke any suspicious app connections. TradingView encouraged users to report such incidents to its support team with screenshots and links to aid in investigations.
