TradingView Raises $298 Million in Funding at $3 Billion Valuation

Fazzaco learned that TradingView, a professional charting and trading platform, has raised $298 million in a private offering, boosting its valuation to $3 billion.
The latest funding round was led by Tiger Global, which highlighted TradingView's potential for future growth thanks to the social sharing aspect of the charting company.
Founded in 2011, TradingView has seen a 400% surge in created accounts and a 237% increase in visitors to the platform over the last 18 months. The company is also planning to expand its broker relationships in the next few years.
“We’re excited to be partnering with Tiger Global. Their global fintech expertise and insights will contribute significantly to furthering TradingView’s vision of informed financial trading and investing for the world. We built this company with the belief that people everywhere want the same thing: to be in control of their own economic futures. We work towards this by creating an environment where all traders and investors can Look first / Then leap,” stated Denis Globa, CEO and Co-Founder of TradingView.
As Fazzaco reported earlier, FX and CFDs broker easyMarkets has integrated with the TradingView platform. easyMarkets users can gain access to TradingView’s social network for traders, one-click trading directly from charts and advanced analysis features by connecting their easyMarkets account to the TradingView interface.
