Traze Strengthens LATAM Expansion with Appointment of Hristo Marinov as Regional Director
Retail CFD and forex broker Traze has appointed Hristo Marinov as Regional Director for Latin America, as the company accelerates its expansion across LATAM and other high-growth emerging markets.
Marinov brings more than eight years of experience in the online trading industry, with a strong background in regional sales development and market expansion, particularly in Latin America. His professional experience spans multiple regulatory environments, including ASIC, FCA, FSCA, CySEC and FSA, and he also holds an ASIC license.
In his new role, Marinov will lead Traze’s regional growth strategy in Latin America, focusing on market development, partnerships and client acquisition in one of the broker’s key target regions.
Before joining Traze, Marinov served as Head of Sales for Latin America at Doo Prime, where he oversaw sales operations and business growth in the region until December last year. Prior to that, he held senior sales and customer support leadership roles at Banxso, managing client engagement and commercial strategy for the CFD provider across African markets.
Earlier in his career, Marinov worked at FXCM in Sofia, where he advanced through several roles including Account Manager, Senior Account Manager and Affiliate Marketing Coordinator. During his tenure, he focused primarily on Spanish-speaking and Latin American client segments.
Traze offers trading access to more than 120 financial instruments, including forex, metals, cryptocurrencies, stocks, commodities and indices, available via MetaTrader 4 and the company’s proprietary mobile trading platform.
Recent Leadership Developments at Traze
The appointment follows a series of leadership changes at Traze. Last year, CEO Erkin Kamran stepped down from his role after careful consideration and later announced plans to build a new venture operating at the intersection of traditional finance and Web3.
In addition, Traze appointed Wassim Anastasiou as Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa late last year. Anastasiou previously spent nearly a decade at ICM.com, progressing from client services roles to senior operational leadership positions, including Director of Operations and Senior Executive Officer.
