Two Independent Directors Depart Finalto Board

Paul Hearn and Dan George, identified as the two leading independent members of Finalto's board of directors, have reportedly left the company and resigned from their positions on the board.
These departures occur amid a series of senior management changes at Finalto, a provider of prime brokerage and liquidity solutions, that have taken place throughout the current year. These changes began in January with the resignation of CEO Matthew Maloney. His departure was followed by those of COO Stanislav Bunimovich, R&D head Mikkel Kallerup Olsen, and longtime senior market analyst Neil Wilson, who previously worked with both Finalto and Markets.com and has since joined Saxo Bank.
An official spokesperson for Finalto commented on the matter, stating, "Following recent internal changes at Finalto, Paul Hearn and Dan George have parted ways with the company. We appreciate their contributions and wish them success in their future endeavours."
Paul Hearn had served as Chairman of Finalto since 2021. His involvement with the company began in 2016 when he first joined the board of Finalto's predecessor company, Safecap Investments, where he also held the Chairman role. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hearn was the Global Head of Fixed Income Origination and Distribution at BNP Paribas in London from 2000 to 2009, following a 15-year tenure at JP Morgan.
Dan George had served as a Non-Executive Director at Finalto since 2019. His previous experience includes serving as Global Head of Trading and Research at City Index.
