Tyl by NatWest Helps Micro Businesses with New Payments Terminal

UK-based payment provider Tyl by NatWest, which rents out card machines for small businesses, has unveiled a new payments terminal and price structure for small businesses dealing with worsening financial distress.
According to Tyl by NatWest, which is reducing transaction costs for businesses with revenue under £50,000 from 1.65% to 1.5%, the pocket-sized PAX terminal is the least expensive stand-alone card reader on the market.
The action is being taken at a time when a Tyl by NatWest study reveals that almost 90% of small business owners are worried about how the cost-of-living crisis may affect customers' decisions to support small, neighborhood companies.
"Small and micro businesses are always on the front lines of responding to the changes and challenges in society, and often they have the least resources to do so," commented Mike Elliff, CEO at Tyl by NatWest, "This highlights the importance of lowering costs where possible to ensure better financial performance and gives this important group of businesses the resources to survive."
