tZERO ATS to Add Investment Banking Business, and Rebrand to tZERO Securities

tZERO ATS, the broker-dealer unit of tZERO Group Inc., a holding company and leading provider of technology and tokenization services for the capital markets industry, is intended to add an investment banking business.

The investment banking business was previously delivered by tZERO Markets, which is also a broker-dealer registered with the SEC like tZERO ATS.

In addition, tZERO ATS will change its name to tZERO Securities to better reflect the breadth of services it makes available to its customers.

"The consolidation of services to one entity will result in a more cohesive platform for customers to seamlessly participate across business lines," said David Goone, CEO, tZERO Group. "tZERO Securities brand reflects the broad scope of our offerings and our market-leading position."

Apart from the new Investment Banking and Private Placement business lines, tZERO Securities will continue operate tZERO Group’s ATS secondary trading and self-clearing business.

The change will come into effect on October 20.
