UBS Registers Net Profit of USD 2.1Bn in Q2 2022
UBS has today released its financial results for the second quarter (Q2) of 2022.
The group's financial highlights for this period are as follows:
Profit before tax came in at 2.6 USD bn.
Net profit attributable to UBS Group AG shareholders reached 2.1 USD bn.
Diluted earnings per share stood at 0.61 USD.
Return on CET1 capital was 18.9 %, with CET1 capital ratio of 14.2 %.
"In these uncertain times, we remained close to our clients. We focused on improving our ecosystem and how clients access it. This, combined with our strategy, diversified business model and strong balance sheet led to strong reported results and good underlying performance," Ralph Hamers, Group CEO, commented.
