UBS Reports Net Profit of Q1 2022 at USD 2.1Bn, up 58% MoM

UBS, a multinational investment bank and financial services company founded and based in Switzerland, has published its financial results of Q1 2022 ended March 31, unveiling that the net profit reached USD 2.1bn, with 19.0% return on CET1 capital.
Specifically, the Group highlighted that the profit before tax stood at USD 2.7 bn, and net profit attributable to its shareholders was USD 2.1 bn.

Besides, in terms of total operating income, the figure was USD 9,363 million, compared to that of last same period at USD 8,705 million. The return on equity rose from 8.9% of last quarter to 14.3%. The net interest income enjoyed an increase of 10% YoY at USD 1,771 million. The fee and commission income fell 6% MoM to USD 5,837 million.
