UK FCA-Regulated Crowdfunding Platform Shojin Enters Administration

The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has announced that Shojin Financial Services Limited entered administration on March 23, 2026. Shojin is an FCA-authorised crowdfunding platform that facilitated customer investments to fund loans for property development projects.
Simon Carvill-Biggs and Ian Corfield of FRP Trading Advisory Limited have been appointed as Joint Administrators. Their duty is to act in the best interests of Shojin's creditors and work expediently. While investors are not always classified as creditors, they may still benefit if the administrators successfully recover value from the related property development companies.
The FCA stated it is engaging with the firm and the Joint Administrators to seek the best outcomes for investors.
