UK FSCS Confirms 16 Firms in Default from 1 October to 30 November 2021

The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS), the UK's statutory Deposit insurance and investors compensation scheme, has declared 16 firms in default from 1 October to 30 November 2021, which is more than the figure of the prior two months.

According to the institution, people who have dealt with any of the 16 firms and believe they are owed money as a result, can now make a claim to the FSCS.

"We know it's stressful when a financial firm stops trading but owes you money. That's why we have specially trained claims handlers who are here to assist you through every step of the process, and we'll keep you up to date with our progress,"Caroline Rainbird, FSCS's Chief Executive, said.

The 16 firms confirmed to be in default after FSCS' investigations include the following:
