UK FSCS Confirms 5 Firms in Default from 1 February to 31 March 2022

The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS), the UK's statutory Deposit insurance and investors compensation scheme, has declared 5 firms in default from 1 February to 31 March 2022, which is lower than the figure of the prior two months.
According to the institution, people who have dealt with any of the 5 firms and believe they are owed money as a result, can now make a claim to the FSCS.
Fiona Kidy, FSCS's Chief Financial Officer, said:"FSCS has been getting customers back on track for more than 20 years. Our key aims of protecting consumers and contributing to financial stability are as important as ever. We apply our rules in a consistent and impartial manner and deliver our service with efficiency."
The 5 firms confirmed to be in default after FSCS' investigations include the following:

SDSC (Midlands) Ltd, formerly t/a SJL Wealth Management Ltd (FRN 496209), Vicarage Corner House, 219 Burton Road, Derby, Derbyshire, DE23 6AE
