UK-based OneID Announces Marion King as Non-Executive Director

On November 24, the identification technology start-up OneID in the UK announced Marion King's appointment as a Non-Executive Director. OneID is a Digital Identity Solution Provider authorized to offer a bank-verified digital identity service for any online journey through the DCMS Digital Identity and Attributes Trust Framework.

Marion King has a proven track of experience from her time working in the financial services sector, where she held senior positions with Reuters, NatWest, Mastercard, and VocaLink. Marion has successfully led high-achieving teams to produce significant growth, transformation, and innovation throughout her career.

Marion served as the CEO of VocaLink, which manages a number of important payment systems for the UK, including BACS, Faster Payments, and the LINK ATM network. Marion has joined Martin Wilson, the CEO of OneID, on the board of directors of the company. Together, they developed VocaLink, the first real-time payments service, and Faster Payments at VocaLink, where they had been working on the BACS payment utility.

Identification theft, fraud, and other societal and digital issues are all being addressed through advances in digital identity technologies.
