Upvest Partners with Deutsche Bank to Leverage Advanced Banking Infrastructure

Upvest, a fintech company headquartered in Berlin, has forged a strategic partnership with Deutsche Bank to integrate the bank's advanced infrastructure into its services. Founded in 2017, Upvest provides custody, trading, and settlement solutions designed to enable financial services firms to offer a diverse range of investment products.
This new collaboration will enable Upvest to enhance its offerings by incorporating Deutsche Bank's capabilities, including virtual IBANs, cash management solutions, automated payment processing, and foreign exchange services.
Upvest CEO and co-founder Martin Kassing emphasized the strategic value of the partnership, noting that Deutsche Bank's "fintech know-how, flexibility, and tech focus" align with Upvest's "ambitious growth plans."
Deutsche Bank's Galina Kersten also commented on the significance of the partnership, stating that it will facilitate "pan-European, instant, and API-based solutions in payments, FX, and beyond."
This collaboration follows Upvest's recent funding achievements, including €30 million raised in October and $42 million in a Series B round in June 2022. Deutsche Bank's involvement underscores its commitment to expanding services for fintech companies, despite ongoing restructuring efforts within the bank.
