Valbury Launches US Stock Trading for Indonesian Investors

PT Valbury Asia Futures has rolled out US stock trading for its clients, expanding access to global equities for Indonesian retail investors. The service is powered by Alpaca’s brokerage infrastructure, which provides access to US-listed stocks and other asset classes.

The launch comes as Indonesia’s retail investor base continues to grow, reaching around 17 million in 2025. Historically, local investors have faced high costs and regulatory hurdles when investing overseas. Valbury said its new offering allows clients to trade US shares from as little as $1, while remaining compliant with local regulations.

“The US stock market is highly attractive, but access has often required multiple platforms,” said Caroline Haryono, CMO of PT Valbury Asia Futures, adding that the new service allows investors to consolidate domestic and international assets on one platform.

Valbury uses Alpaca’s Broker API and OmniSub technology to support operations and regulatory compliance, highlighting a broader push to make global investing more accessible to Indonesian investors.
