Vantage FX Suspends Accounts Opening in Chinese Mainland

Retail broker Vantage FX has released a notice on its official website, saying that it halts providing service of accounts opening application in Chinese mainland.

In the same notice, the broker emphasized that this will not affect the trading and withdrawal of registered customers.

This news comes after ASIC officially confirming its product intervention measures on the issue and distribution of contracts for difference (CFDs) to retail clients. ASIC restricts CFD leverage offered to retail client to a maximum ratio of 30:1 for CFD referencing an exchange rate for a major currency pair.
