Vantage, Robinhood, IG Group and Other Four Companies Are Hiring Now
In the challenging financial market climate, companies around the globe are battling hard to stay afloat. Just this week, Fazzaco reported two Forex brokerages, GMO Financial Holdings and ADSS, were shutting down their UK operations, as a result of these branches' low profitability.
In the US, Nasdaq is halting its plans to launch a crypto custody business, considering the shifting business and regulatory environment in the country.
In terms of the banking sector, Goldman Sachs disclosed its lowest quarterly profit in Q2 2023 since the second quarter of 2020, with earnings falling more than 60%.
Credit Suisse announced its latest cull plan. It will axe 80 investment bankers from the end of July in London. Further, mass layoffs is expected to kick off in the Swiss bank.
Given the state of the broader economy, the current employment environment is far from ideal. Despite this, Fazzaco recently found that multiple financial firms, brokerages and fintech firms in particular, are strengthening their compliance and operations teams with new hires. 1. Vantage - KYC Manager
Vantage, a global multi-asset CFD broker, is looking for a KYC Manager, who works closely with the Global team members to orchestrate and maintain the enforcement regulations in all aspects and levels of business as well as provide guidance on compliance matters.
Bachelor's qualification with Compliance professional of at least 3-5 years standing with a specific focus on KYC, AML Advisory
Prior experience in the FX, CFD and Management Consulting sector is highly desirable
Experience in managing potential, present and future compliance risks related to the business, including risk identification, controls, and risk mitigation of potential non-compliance
2. Robinhood - Compliance Officer (MLRO/SMF17)
The US-based retail trading app Robinhood is looking for a Compliance Officer (MLRO/SMF17) to help build up the firm’s Risk & Compliance team based in the United Kingdom (UK). The ideal candidate is required to have experience in securities and brokerage regulatory compliance issues, and be excited to work at the intersection of regulation, technology, and finance.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
6+ years of compliance practice experience specilaizing in financial services in the UK
3. IG Group - Marketing Executive
IG Group, a global online trading company providing CFDs and Forex, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Executive to join its Brand & Acquisition team at IG Asia Pte Ltd.
The role will assist and support the Marketing Manager in the planning and execution of campaigns, partnerships and other marketing activities to build a strong IG brand in Singapore to achieve brand and commercial goals.
Job Requirements:
A recognised Degree in Marketing or Business Management
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Marketing Executive or similar role in a FinTech related industry
