Vantage UK, Finvasia, Plus500 and Other Four Companies Are Hiring Now

Credit Suisse has paid back some of the emergency liquidity offered by the Swiss central bank, indicating an ebbing of the liquidity crisis which triggered the bank's fall. UBS is considering retaining Credit Suisse’s private banking unit in India​,paving the way for a potential return to the market. 

HSBC has hired dozens of Silicon Valley Bank bankers, in order to launch dedicated banking practice focused on serving companies in technology and healthcare, as well as investors who support them.

Whereas, the aftermath of a wave of bank failures continues leaving employees in the lurch.

The UBS - Credit Suisse merger will see large parts of Credit Suisse's investment bank wound down. Many of the around 17,000 employees at Credit Suisse and the 22,000 UBS employees in Switzerland have been looking at their future with uncertainty. The giant bank created reportedly could let go employees by 20%-30%, with 11,000 jobs being slashed in Switzerland.

The Swiss Bank Employees' Association (SBPV) therefore called on a freeze on layoffs by the end of 2023.

Given this, job hunting is getting harder indeed. Despite this, Fazzaco recently found that multiple financial firms, brokerages in particular, are strengthening their marketing teams with new hires. Let's look at what jobs they're offering and what are the responsibilities.

1. Vantage UK​ - Paid Campaigns Specialist

Vantage UK, the multi-asset broker, is looking for a PPC (Paid Campaigns) Specialist, who will work closely with the Head of Sales and Marketing and other members of the Global Marketing Team to develop and implement a high quality, cross-channel performance strategy to acquire new customers through PPC channels.

The ideal candidate is required to have 3 years’ experience working in this or a similar position in the trading / financial industry, including proven experience using social media platforms and PPC campaign software as well as data analysis and reporting.

The role will write creative & engaging content across various mediums such as the company’s website, platform, emails, Push/InApp messages, app stores, create and edit content in all supported languages while working with translation entities and adhering to compliance requirements, and collaborate with marketing, product, and R&D departments.

4. Zimpler - VP, Global Sales 

Zimpler, a fintech offering instant and secure open banking payments, is seeking a VP, Global Sales to lead its sales organization and help the firm expand into new markets and segments around the world.
