Virtu ITG Europe Limited Is Now Available for Trading on SIX Swiss Exchange

SIX Swiss Exchange announced that Virtu ITG Europe Limited, which specializes in execution services for agency clients in the UK and Irish, has started its trading on the exchange.

The company's joining is a testament to SIX's growing presence in the financial services industry, Gregor Braun, the Head of Sales Switzerland & Europe at SIX Swiss Exchange, commented.

Virtu ITG Europe Limited is a subsidiary of Virtu Financial Inc, a global leader in market making and execution services based in New York. The fintech firm announced the completion of its acquisition of Investment Technology Group, Inc., which rebraned itself asVirtu ITG Europe Limited in May 2019, in a value at approximately $1.0 billion.

The Parent Company Reports Strong Q1

Recently, Virtu Financial, Inc. released a financial report for the first quarter ended March 31,2022. As the report shows, the net income of the company reaches $199.9 million in the first quarte, while its basic and diluted earnings came in at $0.99p and $0.98p respectively. Furthermore, it has completed its Share Repurchase Program of $287.2 million, or 8.9 million shares, as well as the issuance of $1.80 billion senior secured first lien term loan due 2029.
