Visa Unveils Six New AI-Powered Dispute Resolution Tools

Visa Inc (NYSE:V) has announced the launch of six new and enhanced dispute resolution tools aimed at recouping billions of dollars lost annually to inefficient processes. The expanded suite is designed to help merchants and financial institutions reduce administrative costs and fraud losses, freeing resources for growth and customer experience.
"Dispute management is moving from a back-office function to a strategic priority," said Sam Abadir, Research Director at IDC Financial Insights. He noted that institutions relying on manual processes are leaving recoverable revenue on the table.
For merchants, the new tools include the Visa Dispute Resolution Network for pre-dispute handling, an AI-Driven Revenue Recovery Manager, and Order Insight for proactive dispute prevention with an update featuring Compelling Evidence 3.0 in April 2026.
For issuers and acquirers, Visa is rolling out Dispute Intelligence for agent decision-making, a Dispute Doc Analyzer for streamlined document review, and an AI-powered Visa Dispute Case Manager platform for centralized workflow management, with North American availability in 2026.
"Disputes put strain on every part of the payments ecosystem," said Andrew Torre, President of Value-Added Services at Visa. "Our expanded suite gives clients the visibility to focus on serving customers and growing their businesses."
