Voyager CFO Ashwin Prithipaul Resigns

Ashwin Prithipaul, a seasoned professional with more than 20 years of expertise in finance, accounting, and treasury, made the decision to step down from his role as the chief financial officer at Voyager Digital, a 2018-founded publicly traded cryptocurrency platform in the US.
After a transitional phase, Mr. Prithipaul will leave the company. In the meantime, Chief Executive Officer Stephen Ehrlich will take up Mr. Prithipaul's responsibilities.
"On behalf of the Board of Directors and the executive leadership team, I want to extend our sincerest gratitude to Ashwin for his many valuable contributions, especially for his efforts during Voyager's restructuring process," said Mr. Ehrlich.
He served as the CFO of DriveDigital, a division of DriveWealth that specialized on digital assets, before joining Voyager. In addition, he also served as the CFO of Galaxy Digital, a company that provides financial services and investment management for digital assets. He served as Assured Guaranty's Director of Financial Reporting prior to joining Galaxy Digital.
Earlier last week, Binance, the leading global blockchain services provider, and FTX, another crypto giant, have made the top bids of roughly $50 million for the assets of insolvent crypto lender Voyager Digital, according to sources familiar with the matter.
Binance's current bid is slightly higher than FTX's. However, neither offer has been accepted yet, according to the sources.
