Wedbush Securities Hires CFP Chris Ellis as Vice President of Investments

Wedbush Securities Inc, a Los Angeles-based leading wealth management, brokerage and advisory firm, has announced the appointment of Chris Ellis, a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), as Vice President of Investments to its growing Pasadena, CA office.

With over a decade of experience in financial service industry, Ellis joined Wedbush Securities from CUSO Financial Services, L.P., a full-service broker-dealer and SEC Registered Investment Adviser offering customized investment and insurance solutions to credit unions. At CUSO Financial Services, Ellis served as a financial advisor for eight years. Prior to that, he worked as a financial consultant for nearly three years at Peak Financial.

Before entering the financial services industry, Ellis achieved success in his previous career as a manager for men's college basketball at Pepperdine University and as an assistant coach for women's college basketball at the University of California, Irvine.

Ellis holds a Master's Degree in Education from Loyola Marymount University and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Pepperdine University.
