WeLab Bank Sees Departure of Head of Digital Product Michael Ng

Fazzaco learned that Michael Ng, Head of Digital Product of WeLab Bank, a Hong Kong-based virtual bank, is leaving the company.

Michael has a proven track record in developing/managing electronic trading businesses and trading FX and digital assets in Asia. As seen on his Linkedin profile, Michael became Head of Digital Product in May 2019. Priro to joining WeLab Bank, he worked as Senior Trader at Kenetic, a blockchain venture capital investment firm.

Michael joined Kenetic from Natixis, where he spent for more than two years and previously served as Director of eFX Trading and Global Markets Digitization. Bank of China (Hong Kong) procured him as Head of eFX Trading from June 2013 to June 2016. EBS utilised his services as eFX Sales from 2012 to 2013. Over the course of his career, Michael held various roles in some famous brands including Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs.
