Wells Fargo Appoints Ulrike Guigui as Head of Payments Strategy

Wells Fargo, a US leading financial services company, announced that it has hired Ulrike Guigui as Head of Payments Strategy, effective from 1 June 2021.
As detailed in Wells Fargo’s press release, Ulrike will be tasked with leading the company’s enterprise payments strategy and work across the company and with industry partners to ensure that Wells Fargo is strategically aligned and positioned for growth opportunities. Furthermore, she will report to Ather Williams III, Head of Strategy, Digital, and Innovation at Wells Fargo.
With more than 20-year experience in the payments and consumer finance industry, Ulrike has held positions with various exceptional issuers and payment companies. Her most recent position was Managing Director and Head of Payments Practice at Deloitte Consulting. Previously, she has worked with Acculynk as Executive Vice President, with MasterCard as a General Manager and SVP, and with GE Money as VP Marketing of GE Retail Cards Services. She began her career in CitiBank in June 1991, ending with Director of CRM for C2it in Citi Cards in 2001.
