Alphen aan den Rijn-based Wolters Kluwer has appointed Mourid Nasri as the company’s Finance, Risk & Reporting (FRR) business’ Co-Head of Sales & Account Management for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, which is based in Singapore. Nasri will be directly reporting to Rainer Fuchsluger, Managing Director for APAC.
He will work closely with Tat Wee Koh, Co-Head of Sales & Account Management for APAC, leading a regional team of sales professionals and account managers, which includes Alex Aguinaldo (Southeast Asia), Erica Fung (Northeast Asia) and Thomas Jones (Australia & Pacific).
“Our award-winning range of expert solutions across finance, risk and reporting enables banks to transform their operations to meet both regulatory and business requirements. The COVID-19 pandemic is an additional catalyst for the fundamental structural change banks need to address as they prepare for Basel IV reforms,” commented Fuchsluger. “Mourid’s professional experience is well suited to lead the team alongside Tat Wee. And, as this senior hire demonstrates, we are committed to further growing our business in the region, offering clients access to the full range of risk, finance and regulatory reporting solutions.”
Nasri joins Wolters Kluwer from Moody’s Analytics where he was Senior Sales Director for South East Asia. During his ten years with Moody’s, Nasri worked across a wide range of risk management and risk advisory disciplines, being based in Hong Kong, Singapore, Germany and the U.K. He has also worked at Deutsche Bank in equity derivatives trading and holds a Master’s Degree in Quantitative Economics from Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany.
Wolters Kluwer FRR, which is part of Wolters Kluwer’s GRC division, provides integrated regulatory compliance and reporting solutions. It supports regulated financial institutions in meeting their obligations to external regulators and their own board of directors.
