Worldline Delivers Solid Performance in H1 2023, with Revenue up 9.3% YoY

The global leader in payment services Worldline has released its financial results for the first half of 2023, indicating a strong performance during the period, with revenue growing 9.3% on a yearly basis to € 2,242 million.
This development was mainly driven by the continuous growth dynamic in Merchant Services. Operating Margin before Depreciation and Amortization (OMDA) for the semester came in at € 519 million, rising 13.4% from H1 2022's € 457 million. OMDA represented 23.1% of revenue, up 80 basis points compared to H1 2022 at constant scope and exchange rates.
Specifically, Merchant Services' OMDA in H1 2023 reached € 399 million, 17.6% higher over the last same period, 24.8% of revenue. This figure represented a strong improvement by +100 basis points.
Net income Group share from continued operations rose 51.6% from the year-ago semester to € 81 million, with free cash flow increasing slightly to € 232 million.
The company ended the period with € 1,837 million net debt.
