Worldline Delivers Strong H1 Results, Posts 12.6% Jump in Revenue

The global payments company Worldline has released its financial results for the half year of 2022, showing a sharp increase in revenue compared to the last year.
In H1 2021, Worldline's revenue stood at €2,020 million, which is up by 12.6% compared to the same period of 2021. This achievement was reached thanks, in particular, to the continuous growth acceleration in Merchant Services reflecting the widespread and rapid shift towards digital payments as well as the group's strong positioning following the acquisition of Ingenico.
In Q2 2022, Worldline's revenue reached €1,081 million, representing a strong 13.5% organic growth compared to the same period of 2021. Revenues related to the group's merchant services rose by 17.6% in Q2 while revenues related to financial services jumped by 3% during the same period. Moreover, Worldline's mobility and e-transactional services revenue climbed by approximately 10% in the latest quarter.
Gilles Grapinet, Worldline's CEO, said:"Worldline executed a very satisfactory first half of the year with a strong organic growth of 12.6%, accelerating again in Q2, confirming, 18 months after the start of the Ingenico integration, the power of our enhanced competitive positioning. This performance was, in particular, reached thanks to the very dynamic growth in Merchant Services with a steady expansion of acquiring volumes, a solid merchants count deployment, and numerous new large merchant wins and partnerships."
