Worldline, a global leader in payment services, has released its financial results for the third quarter of 2022 (Q3 2022), revealing that its revenue enjoyed a yearly increase of 10% to €1,158 million. This marks the fourth quarter of double-digit growth in a row.
The company clarified that the revenue surge was mainly attributed to Merchant Services' strong commercial dynamics with continuous market share gains and steady volume growth.
Specifically, Merchant Services during this quarter registered 13.6% on a yearly basis revenue organic growth, reaching €828 million. In terms of Mobility & e-Transactional Services and Financial Services, the figure came in at €89 million and €241 million, up 3.4%, 1.5%, respectively.
Gilles Grapinet, CEO of Worldline, said: "In parallel, we closed the disposal of TSS, as planned. This important milestone simplifies Worldline's Group structure and reinforces our balance sheet in a meaningful manner. This will allow Worldline to continue to lead the European market consolidation, leveraging on its active pipeline of M&A opportunities.
Thanks to this strong execution and a still solid level of transaction volumes, we confirm our 2022 annual guidance and continue to steadily establish Worldline as a premium global Paytech at the heart of the European payment system."
