Worldpay from FIS Taps Edison Pun as Crypto & Web3 Relationship Manager

Fazzaco learned that Worldpay from FIS has appointed former Saxo Bank exec Edison Pun as Relationship Manager - Crypto & Web3. 

Edison brings profound expertise and rich experience in finance. Before joining Worldpay, Edison held management positions at Saxo Bank, Copenhagen-based leading multi-asset trading and investment specialist. Initially, he joined the bank as Relationship Management, Global Sales Trading and Senior Market Analyst whose responsibilities cover multi-assets inc. equities, futures and options, FX, fixed income. Later, he was promoted to Country Head of Relationship Management and Global Sales Trading in Greater China to lead the bank's Relationship Management & Global Sales Trading Team in Hong Kong and Shanghai, which acquire, develop and maintain a book of VIP clients (UNWIs, HFs, Banks).

Edison started his career at ADM Investor Services where he served as Deputy Head of Research and Sales for almost 10 years. In this role, he was responsible for business development, key account management, sales team management as well as research and market intelligence.

Edison successively got his master's degree in Economics from Hong Kong University and Sociology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong after he graduated from the latter with an Integrated Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance and Marketing.

Worldpay from FIS is an experienced Card-to-Crypto processor which provides services for 4 of the top 5 cryptocurrency exchanges. In April, FIS announced that its Worldpay business will be the first global merchant acquirer to offer merchants the ability to receive settlement directly in USD Coin (USDC)​​, which can help drive adoption of digital assets.
