Xenfin Capital Onboards Patrick Lindsay as Compliance Director

Fazzaco learned that Xenfin Capital, a specialist in the global currency markets offering an e-FX Market Making platform - Liquid X, has hired Patrick Lindsay, the financial services compliance professional with over 25 years’ experience, as its Compliance Director.

Patrick joined Xenfin Capital from Amana Financial Services UK Limited, a specialist in online trading, which he has been part of for over five years as Director & Head of Compliance. Prior to that, he has held the role of Head of Compliance & MLRO at multiple brokers including GKFX, ADS Securities London, and Tradenext Limited.

Between October 2011 and March 2013, Patrick was Compliance Advisory Partner of the spread betting company Cantor Index. Previously, he has spent two years and nine months at Alpari (UK) Limited, a global Forex, precious metals, spread betting and CFD broker, as Deputy Compliance Officer & MLRO.

Patrick’s various positions also included Associate - Private Wealth Management of Goldman Sachs, Regulatory Risk Monitoring Manager of Coutts, a wealth management service provider. Earlier, he served Financial Services Authority (FSA), which is now known as Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), as Transaction Monitoring Unit Associate for three years. Besides, he has spent ten years at The London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange (LIFFE) as Financial Futures Pit Manager (Short Sterling).
