XTB Puts Most Crypto Pairs to Close Only Mode

Fazzaco learned that X-Trade Brokers (XTB), a leading UK FX & CFD broker, has put most of its CFD instruments based on cryptocurrencies to close only mode.

According to the XTB team, the broker is forced to make a decision to change the availability of selected financial instruments due to the extraordinary volatility in the markets and the inability to hedge positions with liquidity providers.

XTB began making several cryptocurrency CFD instruments available in the close only mode last Friday. The first list includes several cryptos like ETH, XRP, XEM, EOS, NEO and many more. This Tuesday, the broker added EOS and STELLAR to the list of close only paris.

​Fazzaco earlier reported that XTB has unveiled its preliminary financial results for the first quarter of 2021, revealing a significant QoQ jump in income and profits. Additionally, the company will start UAE operation​ in the first half of 2021.
