XTB Reports 126.4% YoY Jump in Net Profit for Q3 2022

Fazzaco learned that X-Trade Brokers (XTB), a leading FX & CFD broker based in Poland, has released its financials for the third quarter of 2022, showing a great jump in net profit and revenues compared to the same period of last year.

More specifically, the broker registered a net profit of PLN 236.2 million, 126.4 percent higher than Q3 2021's PLN 104.3 million. Total operating income reached PLN 391.3 million, up 95.6 percent compared to the previous year's PLN 200 million. Total operating expenses for this quarter came in at PLN 132.5 million, increased by 56.3 percent on a YoY basis.

In Q3 2022, the number of active clients on XTB rose 36.8 percent y/y to 151,685, and the number of new clients up by 16.1 percent y/y to hit 44,796. The broker's CFD profitability per lot hit PLN 245. This number for the same period of 2021 is 192. Additionally, its CFD volume for Q3 stood at 1,594,606, 52.6 percent higher than that of Q3 2021.
