XTB Sees 222.1% Jump in Net Profit for the Full Year 2022

X-Trade Brokers (XTB), a leading FX & CFD broker based in Poland, has released its financial results for the year of 2022, seeing a significant jump in net profit compared to the same period of last year.
The broker recorded a total operating income of PLN 1,444.25 million in 2022, soaring 130.9% compared to PLN 625.60 million in 2021.
The total operating expenses for the year came in at PLN 558.57 million, an increase of 60.2% compared to PLN 348.77 million in 2021.
Operating profit (EBIT) rose by 220.0% from PLN 276.82 in 2021 to PLN 885.68 million in 2022.
Profit before tax was PLN 935.26 million in 2022, increasing 222.2% compared to PLN 290.46 million in the prior year.
Net profit reached PLN 766.10 million, 222.1% higher than PLN 237.83 million in 2021.
The total number of clients on XTB came in at 614,934,000 at the end of the year, comparing to 429,157,000 clients in the end of 2021.
The number of new clients up by 4% from 189,187 in 2021 to 196,864 in 2022.
Net deposits was PLN 3,423.22 million for the year, up 17% compared to 2,933.42 million in the prior year.
Transaction volume in CFD instruments in lots recorded 6,635,643 lots in 2022, an increase of 55% compared to 4,104,566 lots in 2021.
Transaction volume in CFD instruments in nominal value was $2,259.6 billion, rising 30.1% compared to $1,737.4 billion in 2021.
