Yuko Seimei Named President, Representative Executive Officer and CEO at Monex

Monex Group, Inc.​, (the Group) a financial services company based in Tokyo, Japan, with its main subsidiary Monex Inc.engaged in online securities trading, announced today the promotion of Yuko Seimei to President, Representative Executive Officer and CEO, responsible for overall management, strategic planning and financial controls.

Prior to the new position, she has been a Member of the Board, Representative Executive Officer, Co-CEO of Monex Group,Inc since April 2023.

Yuko Seimei joined Monex Hambrecht, Inc. (merged with Monex, Inc. in 2017) in February 2009 as President, then became Representative Director of the company in June 2011.

She took on the role of Executive Director of Monex Group, Inc. in March 2013, Executive Officer of the Group in June 2016, and the Representative Director and President of Monex, Inc. in April 2019.

In January 2020, Yuko Seimei was named Representative Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Monex Group, Inc., and became Representative Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of the Group in January 2021.

She was appointed Member of the Board of Monex Group, Inc. in June 2020, and in April 2022, she became a Member of the Board, Representative Executive Officer, Co-Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of the Group.

Oki Matsumoto, the founder, will oversee the governance of the entire group in the position of Chairman and Representative Executive Officer and Executive Chairman of the Board.
