Zenfinex, a global forex and CFD broker, has announced the rebranding of its retail business to Taurex. The B2B business operations, on the other hand, will continue under the established Zenfinex name.

As shown on the Taurex official website, "Taurex is the trading name of Zenfinex Global Limited, Stochastic Africa SL Ltd, and Zenfinex Global LLC." According to the company, the new brand name, Taurex, is inspired by the Latin word 'Taurus' for strength and 'Ex' for exchange, aiming to "redefine the retail trading landscape".

"The Taurex brand embodies our legacy of trading expertise while signaling our commitment to bring robust trading solutions to our clients," stated Nick Cooke, Founder and CEO of Taurex. "The financial landscape is ever-changing, and as a result traders need a broker that will continue to evolve to meet their increasingly complex needs. This change is more than just a rebrand. In an era where technology and trading are becoming increasingly intertwined, our aim is to continue to centre people. The future of trading will be forged by people and supported by technology. Taurex raises the bar in the industry by always keeping this front of mind – as we evolve as a broker, as a business but most importantly as individuals."

Alexandros Kritiotis, COO of Taurex, added: "Over the last few years, we've built teams, technology and partnerships that have helped us to sharpen our vision for the global trading community. Providing a holistic trading experience with robust tools and security, while still being flexible enough to adapt to our users' needs is paramount to our success. This transition to Taurex represents our confidence that we're ready for the next step in delivering on that vision."

The rebranding comes just over a week after Matthew Wright resigned as CEO of ZenFinex to join Exinity as COO.

Headquartered in London, the broker has rapidly expanded in recent years into key global markets including the MENA, Africa, Asia and Latin America. In May, the company opened a new office in Mexico City to expand its presence in LATAM. In June, the broker secured the first permanent licence for trading CFDs from the Central Bank of Sierra Leone, marking a significant development for the company's global expansion strategy.
