Ziglu Taps ClearBank to Expand Bank Offerings

ClearBank, a UK cloud-based clearing bank, has announced a partnership with crypto payments platform Ziglu to provide agency banking services, enabling Ziglu to offer virtual GBP accounts to its customers.
The bank powers real-time processing and reporting services for Ziglu's GBP virtual accounts with APIs and cloud-based solutions, giving Ziglu's customers access to all UK payment solutions through their virtual accounts.
Furthermore, the embedded banking platform of ClearBank improves the payment service provider's operational efficiency by facilitating the handling of issues such as missing or pending payment queries.
"Ziglu will continue to champion the ClearBank platform," said Mark Hipperson, founder and CEO of Ziglu. "The improvements we've been able to deliver to customers through ClearBank have had a remarkable effect on user satisfaction. ClearBank offers us the best of both worlds, all the security of traditional banking, along with the means to quickly adapt and satisfy our digital-native customer base."
Charles McManus, CEO of ClearBank, said: "With a keen sense of what their banking, investment and crypto customers will want to see next, Ziglu is perfectly poised to continue growing in 2022 and beyond. ClearBank is very pleased to have partnered with Ziglu and to provide safeguarded Virtual GBP Accounts, and we look forward to expanding the proposition together for a long time to come."
Ziglu is a digital currency company regulated by the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). As Fazzaco previously reported, Robinhood, an American financial services company, had acquired Ziglu in April to open crypto platform to its international clients and accelerate its expansion process in Europe.
