OANDA Announces Promotion of Mark Chesterman to Chief Risk Officer

Fazzaco learned that OANDA, a global leader in online multi-asset trading services, has promoted Mark Chesterman to the company's new Chief Risk Officer.

Mark described himself as an experienced financial services executive with a background in strategy, business management, trading, and product development. He boasts experiences in leading global teams across both B2C and B2B markets. As seen on his Linkedin profile, Mark joined OANDA in November 2019 as Head of Trading.

Prior to joining OANDA, Mark previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Stater Global Markets, a financial services company located in London, where he spent for 10 months. Before arriving at Stater Global Markets, he finished his time at IG, where he spent for more than 9 years. He joined the broker in September 2008 as Chief FX Dealer and was promoted to Head of Futures and FX after 3 years. During his tenure of office, Mark also served as Global Business Development Officer and Chief Operating Officer of IG Institutional.
