CySEC Cancels CIF License of F1Markets Ltd

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) announced today the withdrawal of the Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) authorisation with Number 267/15 of F1Markets Ltd, a Forex and CFD brokerage firm.
The decision to revoke the CIF license of the aforementioned broker was made on the Cypriot regulator's meeting of 5th December 2022, pursuant to section 8(1)(a) of the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law of 2017 and section 4(7) of Directive DI87-05.
CySEC explained that it made the decision because F1Markets has voluntarily renounced the license.
The latest action follows the financial regulator's withdrawal of FF Simple and Smart Trades Investment Services Ltd's CIF license last week.
