NAGA Hires Former Tickmill Compliance Leader Loukia Matsia as Head of Compliance and AML

Fazzaco has learned that NAGA Group, a financial technology company specializing in social trading, has appointed Loukia Matsia as Head of Compliance and AML.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Matsia joined NAGA from Tickmill Europe, a CySEC-regulated FX and CFD broker, where she served for over eight years and held various leading roles, including Head of Back Office, Compliance Officer, and most recently, Head of Compliance and AML. Prior to that, Matsia worked for about two years at 24Option and CommexFX, where she was involved in administration/customer services.
Throughout her career, Matsia has obtained several compliance certifications, including the CySEC AML certificate, CISI Diploma in Investment Compliance, and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS). She holds a Master's Degree in Communication and Entrepreneurship from the University of Nottingham.
Matsia's appointment comes shortly after the departure of NAGA's founder and Chief Information Officer, Ben Bilski, who is embarking on a new career journey in Dubai. Prior to Bilski's departure, the company reported strong financial results for the full year 2023, with revenue of €45.5 million and an EBITDA of approximately €7 million.
Furthermore, the merger between NAGA and Capex.com late last year has generated significant industry attention. Fazzaco has conducted an in-depth analysis in the article "Why Is the Capex.com and NAGA Merger A Game-Changer?" to uncover the reasons behind this merger.
