Top 10 Crypto Exchanges Spot Volumes Drop 23% in Average in Feb 2025

Fazzaco has compiled the performance of the top 10 crypto exchanges based on spot trading volume data from February 2025. All ten exchanges mentioned below continued the decline seen last month (and the fact that February only had 28 days is of course a factor in play). Detailed statistics are as follows:

The world's largest cryptocurrency exchange had a spot trading volume of US$651.48 billion in February, an 18.68% drop from US$801.1 billion in January.
The Dubai-based crypto exchange Bybit had a spot trading volume of US$176.95 billion in February, down 24.14% from US$233.26 billion in January.
The leading US exchange Coinbase had a spot trading volume of US$125.62 billion in February, down 20.97% from US$158.96 billion in January.
OKX had a spot trading volume of US$108.59 billion in February, down 19.91% from US$135.59 billion in January.
The Korean crypto exchange Upbit had a spot trading volume of US$101.51 billion in February, down 45.97% from US$187.87 billion in December, making it the biggest drop of the month again.
HTX had a spot trading volume of US$72.61 billion in February, down 17.36% from US$87.86 billion in January.
The crypto exchange Gate.io, which was first established in China in 2013 and later moved to the Cayman Islands, had a spot trading volume of US$59.54 billion in February, down 16.12% from US$70.98 billion in January.
Kraken had a spot trading volume of US$37.73 billion in February, down 25.41% from US$50.58 billion in January.
The offshore-regulated crypto exchange Kucoin had a spot trading volume of US$34.63 billion in February, down 25.72% from US$46.62 billion in January.
LMAX Digital is a crypto exchange operated by the UK FCA-regulated LMAX Group. It had a spot trading volume of US$6.98 billion in February, down 20.05% from US$8.73 billion in January.
