Andrew Bresler Returns Saxo Bank as UK CEO

Fazzaco learned that Saxo Capital Markets UK Ltd (Saxo UK), the London-based and FCA regulated unit of Saxo Bank, the Copenhagen-based online trading and investment specialist, has appointed  Andrew Bresler as CEO, effetcive from June 3, 2024.

Andrew will take over the CEO role from interim CEO Simon Camilleri, Saxo UK's current COO who stepped into the role after the departure of Saxo UK CEO Charles White-Thomson​ in February.

Based on his LinkedIn profile, between 2016 and 2018, Andrew was Director, Sales Trading APAC of Saxo Markets Asia Pacific. Then he moved to Citi as Regional Head - Brokerage, Portfolio Finance & Digital Investments - APAC & EMEA.

Most recently, he served digital commerce platform provider InvestCloud, where he initially was Head of South East Asia & Head of Sales APAC, afterwards rose to Chief Revenue Officer & Deputy General Manager - APAC.

This appointment comes after Saxo Bank's promotion of Casper Andreas Solbakken to Global Head of Commercial Offering & Experience.
