ASIC Revokes AFS License of APBG Capital Pty Ltd

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) announced today that it has canceled the Australian financial services (AFS) licence of APBG Capital Pty Ltd (APBG Capital).
The license authorised APBG Capital to deal in interests in managed investment schemes and provide general financial advice to wholesale clients.
According to the regulator's announcement, the license was canceled on the basis that APBG Capital has ceased to carry on a financial services business.
APBG Capital has held AFS licence no. 481677 since 30 May 2016.
Over the past month, the ASIC has canceled another AFS licenses of 3 financial service firms, including Centurion Custodian Funds Management Ltd (AFS licence no. 286801), DGR Bloodstock Services Pty Ltd (AFS licence no. 288153), and Capital Investment Partners Pty Ltd (AFS licence no. 292416).
