Capital.com Appoints Campbell MacPherson as CEO Australia

Campbell MacPherson, a senior financial services professional with over 25 years experience, has joined London-based retail FX and CFDs broker Capital.com to lead the firm's Australian operations.

This appointment follows Capital.com's naming Rupert Osborne​ as CEO UK.

Based on his LinkedIn profile, before joining Capital.com, Campbell served FactSet as Regional Director, Sales for over two years. As a member of the Pacific leadership team, he was responsible for managing a team of high performing account managers growing and servicing Factset's business across multiple asset classes.

Between June 2019 and July 2021 at Caplin Systems, which provides advanced web trading technology to the global financial markets, Campbell was Strategic Advisor, Business Development, focused on Asian business strategy advice and relationship management. At global investment manager BlackRock, he was Vice President, Institutional Sales, iShares. He was also Regional Manager, Europe at ASX from May 2004 to May 2007.

Campbell has dediciated more than five years to Thomson Reuters, with roles including Sales Director, Sell-Side Accounts, Pacific region, Senior Vice President, Global Business Director, and Head of FX Marketplaces, Pacific. Early in his career, he spent approximately twelve years at Reuters, with roles including Director, Treasury Services, Asia, and Product Manager, FX Trading, UK & I, etc.
