CEO & Founder Peter Cruddas Receives 67,560 Shares from CMC Markets

CMC Markets Plc, a leading global provider of online trading and institutional platform technology, has announced transactions in its shares by its CEO Peter Cruddas.

Cruddas received 67,560 shares under the CMC Markets plc UK Share Incentive plan. The transactions were completed on Tuesday (July 12).
Cruddas worked as a telex operator for Western Union in the City of London before working in FX trading rooms at various banks including the Bank of Iran and Marine Midland, and eventually became chief dealer and global group financial advisor. He founded CMC Market in 1989 (listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2016) and currently owns 60.3% of the company.

CMC Market released its financial results for the year ended 31 March 2022 on June 9. The data showed that the broker's net operating income for the financial year was £282 million; the non-leveraged net trading revenue was £48 million; the leveraged gross client income was £288.5 million; the operating expenses amounted to £188 million; and the net available liquidity improved to £246 million, up 16.6% from £211 million in 2021.
