Christopher Nelson-Smith Leaves Vantage for Blueberry Markets as Trading and Operations Head

Fazzaco learned that Australian-based FX trading platform Blueberry Markets has appointed Christopher Nelson-Smith, a seasoned and results-driven executive with a proven track record in the financial and banking sector, to head its trading and operations business.

Christopher is tasked with maximizing eFX and CFDs in trading revenue by optimizing the trade flow of all Blueberry Markets' products. Besides, he will be responsible for liquidity and developing and executing the company's trading and risk management strategy.

Christopher joins Blueberry Markets from global multi-asset broker Vantage, where he spent eight years, with roles including Head of Risk and Director. Prior to that, he was a Director of a leading online broker VT Markets.

Between December 2011 and December 2015, Christopher worked with GAIN Capital, retail FX business of StoneX Group, as Senior Market Maker. Earlier, he was a dealer of global leader in FX & CFD trading, City Index.

This appointment follows Blueberry Markets' addition of James O'Neill​, a former executive Director at FairMarkets, an ASIC regulated broker, to its team.
